The Armed Forces History Museum is dedicated to preserving our nation’s military history in order to educate our current and future generations of the sacrifices made by so many in order to preserve our freedom.  The interactive displays and dioramas bring history to life and assist with a better understanding of the contributions our military has made in shaping our great nation.  We should never forget those who have given so much.


The museum has an extensive collection of military memorabilia dating back to WWI.  The items are displayed in the areas that best depict its history.  Along with the incredible attention to detail throughout the galleries, the individual audio enhance, life-sized dioramas make AFHM an incredibly unique experience.


The museum also houses an amazing display of bayonets from around the world in the Firearms & Ordnance gallery, along with an extensive collection of firearms, mines, grenades and ordnance.  Throughout the museum, visitors are awed by the full-sized, fully-operational tanks and vehicles, such as the amphibious DUKW found in the WWII Naval Gallery.
