Youth Overview

The Armed Forces History Museum offers several opportunities for the youth in our community.  Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts can earn a visitation patch (which has been approved by both the Boy Scouts of America and the Girls Scouts of West Central Florida) when their troop visits the museum.
Visit our Boy Scouts / Girl Scouts page for more information.

The museum also offers a Build-A-Model Camp for children (8 years and older) and adults.  The camp meets at the museum several times throughout the year.  For more information and model camp dates, visit our Build A Model Camp page.

AFHM is also a great place to hold a unique birthday party.  Ask to include a ride on our motion simulator and/or on our WWII M8 Reconnaissance Vehicle in your birthday package.

Note:  AFHM is handicap accessible and has on-site parking.  Ample restrooms and seating are available throughout the museum.
